1. Greet and welcome customers to H-E-B with a positive and friendly attitude.
2. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of H-E-B's tortilla products and their quality.
3. Proactively engage with customers to promote and sell our tortillas, providing them with information and recommendations.
4. Maintain a visually appealing and well-stocked Tortilleria department, ensuring products are properly displayed and priced.
5. Utilize sales techniques to meet and exceed personal and department sales goals.
6. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
7. Collaborate with the Tortilleria team to ensure proper inventory levels and stock rotation.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to make informed sales recommendations.
9. Assist in creating and implementing sales strategies to increase department sales and profitability.
10. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including cash handling and inventory management.
12. Continuously deliver exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to meet customer needs.
13. Attend and actively participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
14. Be a positive and proactive team player, supporting and assisting other team members as needed.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
