Job Description

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the store, including managing inventory, merchandising, and ensuring overall store cleanliness and organization.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, resolving any issues, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the store.
  3. Lead and motivate a team of employees, including hiring, training, and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels and a high level of customer service.
  4. Monitor sales and financial performance of the store, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive sales and increase profitability.
  5. Set and maintain high standards for product quality, freshness, and presentation.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and teams within the company to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of operations.
  7. Create and implement store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  8. Maintain a safe and secure environment for both customers and employees, following all safety protocols and addressing any potential safety hazards.
  9. Handle customer complaints and escalations, finding effective solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, market competition, and customer preferences to make informed decisions and improve store performance.
  11. Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  12. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to employees to promote growth and development.
  13. Maintain accurate records, including sales reports, inventory levels, and employee schedules.
  14. Collaborate with the company's marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies and events to increase sales and attract new customers.
  15. Represent the company and its values in the community, participating in local events and initiatives to promote brand awareness and community involvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: A Store Leader At H-E-B Should Have Several Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within The Retail Industry. This Could Include Experience As A Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Or Supervisor.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Employees. They Should Also Have Experience In Decision-Making And Problem-Solving.

  • Knowledge Of Store Operations: A Store Leader Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of All Aspects Of Store Operations, Including Inventory Management, Sales Strategies, And Customer Service. They Should Also Be Familiar With H-E-B's Policies And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Leader, It Is Important For The Store Leader To Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Both Employees And Customers. They Should Also Have Strong Interpersonal Skills And Be Able To Build Relationships With Team Members And Customers.

  • Strong Business Acumen: The Store Leader Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Business Operations And Be Able To Make Strategic Decisions To Drive Sales And Increase Profitability. This Includes Budgeting, Forecasting, And Analyzing Sales Data. Knowledge Of H-E-B's Products And Services Is Also Important.
