Job Description

H-E-B is looking for a highly-qualified, driven Staff DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for problem-solving and a commitment to excellence in their work. Our DevOps team is focused on providing innovative solutions to our IT operations and supporting our technology goals.As our Staff DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of our systems, applications, and systems infrastructure. You will be a critical part of our DevOps team and will help to ensure that our systems are reliable and efficient.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. You should also have at least 5 years of experience with DevOps, including experience with automation tools and scripting languages. In addition, you should have experience in developing, deploying, and managing cloud-based applications.If you are passionate about working in a fast-paced environment and have the necessary qualifications, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure successful deployment and maintenance of IT systems, applications, and systems infrastructure.
  2. Develop, deploy, and manage cloud-based applications.
  3. Utilize automation tools and scripting languages to improve system efficiency.
  4. Work collaboratively with the DevOps team to achieve technology goals.
  5. Monitor system performance and analyze system logs to identify issues.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  7. Provide technical guidance and training to junior members of the team.
  8. Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends.
