  1. Manage and optimize the Essbase system to support financial reporting and analysis.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data within Essbase.
  3. Monitor and troubleshoot any issues or errors with Essbase system and provide solutions.
  4. Collaborate with various teams to gather business requirements and develop efficient Essbase solutions.
  5. Develop and maintain Essbase cubes, databases, and calculations.
  6. Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in Essbase technology.
  7. Participate in the design and implementation of Essbase system upgrades and enhancements.
  8. Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy within Essbase system.
  9. Assist in training and supporting team members on how to effectively use Essbase for financial reporting and analysis.
  10. Prepare and present reports and analysis to management on Essbase system performance and utilization.
  11. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert for Essbase administration and provide guidance to other team members.
  13. Collaborate with IT team to ensure smooth integration of Essbase with other financial systems.
  14. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Essbase system.
  15. Proactively identify and address any potential risks or issues related to Essbase system.

Job Qualifications

  • Expert Knowledge Of Essbase Administration: The Senior Technical Accountant Must Possess A Deep Understanding Of Essbase And Its Functionality, As Well As Extensive Experience In Administering Essbase Applications.

  • Proficiency In Financial Reporting And Analysis: This Role Requires Advanced Skills In Financial Reporting And Analysis, Including The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Large Datasets In Order To Provide Valuable Insights To Stakeholders.

  • Strong Technical Background: The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Strong Technical Background, With Experience In Sql And Other Programming Languages. They Should Also Have A Thorough Understanding Of Database Structures And Data Management Principles.

  • Experience In Project Management: The Senior Technical Accountant Must Have Experience Managing Projects And Leading Cross-Functional Teams To Implement Essbase-Related Initiatives. This Includes Creating Project Plans, Managing Timelines, And Communicating Progress To Stakeholders.
