  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the produce department, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels.
  2. Ensure that all produce is fresh, of high quality, and presented attractively to customers.
  3. Train and supervise a team of produce staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they deliver exceptional customer service.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability in the produce department.
  5. Monitor and maintain proper storage and handling of all produce products to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute promotions, displays, and events to showcase our produce offerings.
  7. Stay updated on market trends and new produce products to make informed purchasing decisions.
  8. Create and maintain schedules for produce staff to ensure adequate coverage during all business hours.
  9. Address customer complaints and quickly resolve any issues related to produce quality or service.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized produce department, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  11. Participate in budget planning and control costs to meet financial objectives.
  12. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and training to improve the skills and performance of the produce team.
  13. Act as a role model for the company's values and ensure they are upheld by all produce staff.
  14. Maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and open communication among the produce team and other departments.
  15. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures in the produce department to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Job Qualifications
