  1. Develop and maintain visually appealing and effective planograms for all H-E-B stores.
  2. Collaborate with store managers and visual merchandisers to ensure consistent and on-brand merchandising across all stores.
  3. Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure planograms are properly executed and merchandise is displayed according to company standards.
  4. Monitor sales data and customer feedback to make informed decisions on merchandising strategies.
  5. Work with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and secure the best deals for the company.
  6. Train and mentor store associates on proper merchandising techniques and standards.
  7. Oversee inventory management to ensure products are in stock and displayed appropriately.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor strategies to inform merchandising decisions.
  9. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure merchandising plans are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
  10. Analyze sales data and make recommendations for adjustments to planograms to improve sales and customer experience.
  11. Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures related to merchandising.
  12. Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to ensure promotional and seasonal displays are executed effectively.
  13. Identify and troubleshoot any issues related to product availability, product placement, or planogram execution.
  14. Assist in the development and implementation of new merchandising initiatives.
  15. Serve as a brand ambassador and maintain a positive and professional image of H-E-B at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Planogram Creation And Execution: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Creating And Implementing Planograms In A Retail Setting, Preferably In The Grocery Industry.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Planogram Merchandising Assistant Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Sales Data, Identifying Trends, And Making Recommendations For Improving Product Placement And Assortment. Therefore, Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Merchandising Principles And Strategies: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Merchandising Principles And Strategies, Including Product Placement, Space Management, And Inventory Management. This Knowledge Will Be Crucial In Creating Effective Planograms For The Store.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Planogram Merchandising Assistant Manager Will Be Working Closely With Various Departments, Including Category Managers, Store Managers, And Vendors. Therefore, Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Familiarity With Planogram Software And Tools: H-E-B Uses Various Planogram Software And Tools To Create And Implement Planograms. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Familiar With These Tools And Have The Ability To Quickly Learn And Adapt To New Software.
