- Monitor inventory levels and maintain stock of perishable products to ensure availability for customers.
- Receive and inspect incoming perishable products, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
- Properly handle and store perishable products to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
- Assist customers with product selection and provide information about the products.
- Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures when handling and preparing perishable products.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and stocked at all times.

Strong Knowledge Of Perishable Products: A Qualified Perishables Representative At H-E-B Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Perishable Products Such As Fresh Produce, Meat, Seafood, And Dairy. This Includes Knowledge Of Proper Handling, Storage, And Rotation Techniques.
Customer Service Skills: As A Representative Of H-E-B, It Is Important For A Perishables Representative To Have Excellent Customer Service Skills. This Includes Being Friendly, Helpful, And Able To Provide Product Recommendations And Answer Customer Questions.
Attention To Detail: In Order To Maintain The Quality And Freshness Of Perishable Products, A Perishables Representative Must Have A Keen Attention To Detail. This Includes Checking Expiration Dates, Monitoring Product Temperatures, And Ensuring Proper Packaging And Labeling.
