- Maintain a high level of customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure all perishable products are properly stocked and rotated according to company guidelines.
- Monitor product quality and freshness, and remove any expired or damaged items from shelves.
- Assist in receiving and stocking perishable products, as well as maintaining proper product storage and organization.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers.
- Continuously strive to improve the overall shopping experience for customers by seeking out new and innovative ways to enhance the perishables department.
- Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Attend training and development programs to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure the smooth operation of the perishables department.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and safety protocols.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues or concerns related to perishable products or customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the store.
Knowledge Of Perishable Products: A Perishables Representative At H-E-B Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Various Perishable Products Sold In The Store, Including Produce, Meat, Seafood, And Dairy. This Includes Knowledge Of Proper Handling, Storage, And Expiration Dates.
Customer Service Skills: H-E-B Places A Strong Emphasis On Providing Excellent Customer Service. As A Perishables Representative, It Is Important To Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills In Order To Assist Customers With Their Questions And Needs.
