As a Perishables Representative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and availability of our perishable products, making a positive impact on our customers' shopping experience.

  1. Ensure the highest standards of freshness for all perishable items in the store.
  2. Monitor and maintain proper temperature and storage conditions for all perishable products.
  3. Inspect and rotate perishable products to ensure freshness and prevent spoilage.
  4. Assist with receiving and stocking of all perishable items.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any customer concerns or inquiries related to perishable items.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized perishable section.
  7. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and be able to answer customer questions about different types of perishable products.
  8. Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure all perishable products meet company standards.
  9. Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
  10. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fresh products.
  11. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or overstocking to management.
  12. Train and mentor new team members on proper handling and storage of perishable items.
  13. Actively participate in team meetings and provide suggestions for improving the freshness and quality of perishable products.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures related to perishable products.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.

  • Food Safety And Sanitation Knowledge: H-E-B Places A Strong Emphasis On Food Safety And Sanitation. A Perishables Rep Should Have Knowledge Of Proper Food Handling Techniques And Be Able To Maintain A Clean And Organized Work Environment.

  • Physical Stamina: This Role May Involve Lifting, Stocking, And Moving Heavy Boxes Or Products. Therefore, Physical Stamina And The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment Are Important Qualifications For A Perishables Rep At H-E-B.
