As an Order Taker/Runner, you will be responsible for taking orders from customers and ensuring their timely delivery to the appropriate departments.   1. Greet and welcome customers to the H-E-B store in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is recorded.
  3. Communicate with customers to confirm orders and provide updates on any delays or changes.
  4. Organize and prioritize orders to ensure timely delivery to the appropriate departments.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient order processing.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the order taking station and surrounding areas.
  7. Assist with maintaining inventory levels by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
  8. Handle customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  9. Follow all company policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  10. Communicate any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
  11. Continuously strive to provide exceptional customer service and create a positive shopping experience for customers.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for both customers and team members.
  13. Attend and actively participate in all training and development programs offered by H-E-B.
  14. Complete all tasks and assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
  15. Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic, demonstrating a commitment to the H-E-B brand.
