Drives sales and profitability by managing and directing the development of pre-season strategic plans with a Director of Buying and other leaders; setting stretch goals to grow, create, and innovate assigned GM Division (group of Commodities) that support HEB-s overall financial goals and GM merchandising strategy. Manages the weekly In-Season Forecasting of Sales and full Gross Revenue Balance Set for a GM Division. Manages the End to End Merchandising Cycle from pre-season planning through in-season execution, clearance and post seasonal analysis. Builds preseason financial sales, gross revenue, and inventory plans by season, at a commodity/week/store level; monitors and manages performance in season Directs a team of Planners in the Development of commodity / item plans for each assortment to align key goals / metrics (sales, units, inventory, receipts, turn and profit expectations); collaborates with the Director of Buying throughout the year, both pre-season and in season, to ensure assortment plans meet financial, space, and store objectives
