Loss Prevention Specialist

The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving and investigative skills, as well as be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. A successful Loss Prevention Specialist will have a professional and personable demeanor, with the ability to diffuse situations quickly and efficiently.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in a loss prevention or security role, as well as have a strong knowledge of the law related to retail theft and criminal activity. They should also possess a valid driver’s license and knowledge of the surrounding areas. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor stores for suspicious activity, theft, and other security issues.
2. Investigate incidents of theft, shoplifting, and other criminal activities.
3. Work closely with store management to ensure safety and security protocol is being followed.
4. Respond quickly and efficiently to security incidents.
5. Ensure all safety and security policies are being followed and enforced.
6. Maintain accurate records of all investigations and security incidents.
7. Patrol store premises to ensure safety and security of customers, staff, and property.
8. Provide training and guidance to store staff on safety and security protocols.
9. Liaise with local law enforcement when necessary.
10. Be knowledgeable of the laws related to retail theft and criminal activity.
11. Maintain valid driver’s license and knowledge of the surrounding areas.
12. Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
