Job Description

H-E-B is looking for a committed and reliable Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team! Our ideal candidate is an individual who is confident in their ability to monitor security cameras, investigate incidents, and perform store visits. The Loss Prevention Specialist must be passionate about protecting our company from loss, and have a professional and courteous attitude.To be successful in this role, you must have both a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as at least one year of experience in a similar role. Knowledge of security systems and procedures, as well as excellent judgment, is also required. Additionally, you must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.If you have the qualifications and passion to take on this challenge, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor security cameras to identify potential threats or suspicious activity.
  2. Investigate and document any incident or suspicious activity.
  3. Perform store visits and inspections to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  4. Educate store personnel on security policies and procedures.
  5. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with staff and customers.
  6. Respond to any emergency situation in a timely and efficient manner.
  7. Track and report any losses or potential losses to the appropriate personnel.
  8. Utilize security systems and procedures to protect the company from losses.
  9. Investigate any alleged misconduct or policy violations.
  10. Maintain valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
