- Manage and motivate a team of general merchandise associates, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service and sales performance.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of customer needs and preferences, and use this knowledge to make informed product selection and placement decisions.
- Collaborate with other department managers to ensure seamless integration and consistency across all areas of the store.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms and conditions for product procurement.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to make data-driven decisions and adjustments to inventory levels and pricing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations.
- Continuously seek out ways to improve and enhance the general merchandise department, including implementing new processes and procedures to increase efficiency and profitability.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Retail Management, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Retail Management, With A Focus On Merchandising.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Large Team.
Extensive Knowledge Of Retail Merchandising Strategies And Trends.
Ability To Analyze Sales Data And Make Strategic Decisions To Drive Sales And Profitability.
