  1. Oversee the operations and sales of non-food departments to ensure efficient and effective operations and optimal customer satisfaction.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase profitability in the general merchandise departments.
  3. Create and maintain a positive and welcoming environment for customers and employees.
  4. Train and mentor team members to provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales data to make informed decisions about product offerings and pricing.
  6. Collaborate with other department managers to ensure seamless operations and a cohesive shopping experience for customers.
  7. Manage inventory levels and ensure appropriate stock levels for all general merchandise departments.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
  9. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to drive individual and team success.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations.
  11. Monitor and maintain department budgets and expenses.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies to inform business decisions.
  13. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  14. Maintain a safe and clean working environment for employees and customers.
  15. Act as a leader and role model for the team, promoting a positive and collaborative work culture.
