Job Description

At H-E-B, we are looking for an enthusiastic and customer service-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is someone who is able to provide a friendly and professional atmosphere in the gas station for customers, while ensuring that safety protocols are being followed. The successful candidate will need to possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellent customer service. Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• Previous experience in the gas station or customer service industry is preferred• Ability to build relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service• Ability to work independently and as a team• Ability to follow safety protocols• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to use basic computer software

Responsibilities: • Greet customers and provide friendly and professional customer service. • Ensure safety protocols are being followed at all times. • Ensure gas pumps and other equipment are maintained in good working order. • Assist customers with their fuel needs, such as selecting the proper grade of gasoline and providing them with information on payment options. • Maintain records of fuel sales and reconcile daily transactions. • Handle customer complaints and inquiries. • Ensure that the gas station area is kept clean and organized. • Follow all company policies and procedures. • Be knowledgeable and up to date on the gas station’s products and services.
