1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store with a friendly and positive attitude.
2. Ensure that the front of house area is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
3. Train and supervise front of house employees, including cashiers and baggers, to ensure they are providing exceptional customer service.
4. Monitor customer flow and make adjustments to staffing as needed to ensure efficient operations and minimal wait times.
5. Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
6. Assist customers with any questions or concerns they may have, including product inquiries, store policies, and special requests.
7. Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming sales, promotions, and events in order to effectively communicate this information to customers.
8. Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed and maintain accurate cash records.
9. Collaborate with other store departments to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
10. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to front of house employees.
11. Create and maintain employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak business hours.
12. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
13. Continuously strive to improve customer service and operational efficiency.
14. Act as a role model for exceptional customer service and professionalism for all employees.
15. Keep management informed of any issues or concerns that may arise.
16. Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by management.
