Job Description

Perform all responsibilities of Diesel Technician I. Performs mid-range diagnostics and troubleshooting. Performs basic to advanced welding. Performs most repairs, preventative maintenance and replacements in his/her specific classification. Performs some training Performs preventative and predictive repair maintenance as assigned. Assists in: Advanced welding, brake repair/overhaul, steering/alignment, repair/adjust clutch. Troubleshoot and repair electrical system, engine operation, trans/differential operation, air conditioning operation, cooling system, exhaust system, fuel system, and basic diagnostics. Familiar with 2010 & newer emissions. Performs state inspections.

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience as a mechanic

  • A high skilled level of welding preferred

  • Possess current CDL

  • Must possess associated with Tech level
