Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Assistant at H-E-B. In this role, you will have the opportunity to interact with our valued customers on a daily basis, providing top-notch service and assistance.   1. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  2. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  3. Act as a knowledgeable resource for customers, answering questions and providing information about products, services, and store policies.
  4. Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling payments and returns.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including shelves, displays, and checkout counters.
  6. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively assist customers.
  8. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the customer experience and provide feedback to management.
  9. Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  10. Handle difficult or escalated customer situations with tact and composure.
  11. Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels.
  12. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance customer service skills and product knowledge.
  13. Communicate any customer feedback or concerns to the appropriate department or manager.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the company in a positive light to customers.
  15. Adhere to all company standards for attendance, punctuality, and dress code.
