  1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist customers with inquiries, product location, and general store information.
  3. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and company policies.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring customers' needs are met and exceeded.
  5. Handle customer complaints and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Operate cash registers and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  7. Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a positive shopping experience for customers.
  8. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth store operations.
  9. Continuously update knowledge of products and services offered by the company.
  10. Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations.
  11. Actively seek out opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  12. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  13. Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
  14. Assist in stocking and replenishing merchandise to ensure availability for customers.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Successful Customer Service Assistant At H-E-B Should Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Interact With Customers And Address Their Needs.

  • Familiarity With H-E-B Products And Services: H-E-B Is A Large Grocery And Retail Chain, And A Customer Service Assistant Should Have Knowledge Of The Company's Products And Services In Order To Effectively Assist Customers And Answer Their Questions.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: H-E-B Is A Busy And Fast-Paced Environment, Especially During Peak Shopping Hours. A Customer Service Assistant Should Be Able To Handle A High Volume Of Customers And Multitask Effectively To Ensure Efficient And Timely Service.
