Job Description

At H-E-B, we are looking for a friendly and helpful Customer Service Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is passionate about helping customers and providing excellent service. The Customer Service Assistant should be dependable, reliable and must possess a strong work ethic. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong communication skills and have the ability to problem solve. You should also have a good knowledge of customer service standards and procedures. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Microsoft Office and have a high school diploma or GED. Previous customer service experience is a plus. Responsibilities for a Customer Service Assistant:

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers • Greet and assist customers in finding solutions to their inquiries • Address customer questions and complaints in a friendly and professional manner • Process payments and issue receipts • Demonstrate a positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for customer service • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing knowledgeable and helpful advice • Maintain a working knowledge of customer service standards and procedures • Utilize Microsoft Office applications to process customers’ data and transactions • Adhere to company policies and procedures • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Assist with store projects and duties as assigned • Remain up to date on promotions and product knowledge
