Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: A Certified Medical Assistant At H-E-B Must Have Completed An Accredited Program And Possess A Diploma Or Certificate To Demonstrate Their Knowledge And Skills In Medical Assisting.
Current Certification: In Addition To Completing An Accredited Program, Candidates Must Also Hold A Current Certification As A Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Through A Recognized Certifying Agency.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology Is Essential For A Certified Medical Assistant At H-E-B. This Includes Understanding Medical Abbreviations, Diagnostic Codes, And Commonly Used Medical Terms.
Experience In A Clinical Setting: H-E-B Is Looking For Candidates With Previous Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Primary Care Or Family Practice Setting. This Experience Demonstrates An Understanding Of The Role And Responsibilities Of A Certified Medical Assistant.
Customer Service Skills: As A Certified Medical Assistant At H-E-B, Candidates Will Interact With Patients On A Daily Basis. Strong Customer Service Skills, Including Communication, Empathy, And Professionalism, Are Essential For Providing A Positive Patient Experience.
