As an Assistant Store Leader, you will play a vital role in the success of our store by assisting the Store Leader in managing all aspects of store operations.   1. Assist the Store Leader in managing all aspects of store operations, including but not limited to sales, customer service, inventory management, and employee development.
  2. Lead and motivate a team of employees to provide exceptional service and meet sales goals.
  3. Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed by employees to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  4. Collaborate with the Store Leader to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales and financial data to make informed decisions and recommend improvements.
  6. Train and coach employees on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
  7. Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees to maintain a strong and dedicated team.
  8. Conduct regular store walks to ensure that the store is clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
  9. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  10. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth to enhance leadership skills.
  12. Collaborate with other store leaders and departments to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
  13. Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with the Store Leader and other team members.
  14. Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the overall success of the store.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As An Assistant Store Leader At H-E-B, You Will Be Responsible For Managing And Leading A Team Of Employees. Therefore, Having Strong Leadership Skills Is Crucial For This Role. This Includes The Ability To Motivate, Train, And Manage Employees Effectively.

This Includes Knowledge Of Store Operations, Customer Service, Inventory Management, And Merchandising. Previous Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Retail Setting Is Also A Plus.

  • Strong Organizational Skills: As An Assistant Store Leader, You Will Be Responsible For Overseeing Various Aspects Of The Store, Including Inventory, Schedules, And Budgets. Therefore, Having Strong Organizational Skills Is Crucial To Effectively Manage And Prioritize Tasks.

  • Customer Service Focus: H-E-B Prides Itself On Providing Excellent Customer Service. As An Assistant Store Leader, You Will Need To Ensure That All Employees Are Delivering Top-Notch Service To Every Customer.
