  1. Support the Store Leader in overseeing the daily operations of the store.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  3. Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  4. Assist in hiring, training, and coaching team members to promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  5. Help create and implement strategies to increase store sales and profitability.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing inventory processes to maximize efficiency and minimize loss.
  8. Collaborate with other store leaders to share best practices and achieve company goals.
  9. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
  11. Assist in planning and executing store events and promotions.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.
  13. Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  14. Assist in budget planning and management.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.

Job Qualifications
  • Leadership Experience: The Ideal Candidate For The Assistant Store Leader Position At H-E-B Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Grocery Setting.
