  1. Provide leadership and support to the store team in delivering exceptional customer service.
  2. Collaborate with the Store Leader to develop and implement strategies for achieving sales and profit goals.
  3. Oversee the daily operations of the store, including managing inventory, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Train and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and meet performance expectations.
  5. Ensure the store maintains a clean, organized, and well-stocked appearance.
  6. Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Monitor and analyze sales and inventory data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
  8. Assist in creating and enforcing store policies and procedures.
  9. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  10. Collaborate with other store leaders and departments to achieve company-wide goals and initiatives.
  11. Maintain a positive and motivating work environment for all team members.
  12. Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and developments, and share best practices with the team.
  14. Serve as a role model for the team by demonstrating strong work ethic and adherence to company values.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate For An Assistant Store Leader Position At H-E-B Should Have Previous Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Grocery Store Or Related Industry.
