Job Description

As an Assistant Store Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Leader in all aspects of store operations, team management, and customer satisfaction.   1. Support the Store Leader in all aspects of store operations, including but not limited to: inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies.
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of store policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  3. Manage and lead a team of employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  4. Foster a positive and empowering work culture that promotes growth, development, and success for all team members.
  5. Ensure excellent customer service is provided to all customers by setting a high standard for customer interactions and resolving any customer issues in a timely and effective manner.
  6. Monitor and analyze sales and performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase store productivity and profitability.
  7. Collaborate with the Store Leader to develop and execute marketing and promotional initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean store environment by enforcing company policies and procedures, as well as local health and safety regulations.
  9. Act as a role model for team members by demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve store operations and customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Leadership Experience: A Successful Assistant Store Leader At H-E-B Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Customer Service Environment.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As An Assistant Store Leader, Effective Communication Is Crucial For Managing A Team And Ensuring Clear And Consistent Communication With Upper Management And Other Departments.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Operations: A Deep Understanding Of Retail Operations, Including Inventory Management, Merchandising, And Customer Service, Is Essential For An Assistant Store Leader To Excel In Their Role.

  • Ability To Multitask And Problem-Solve: In A Fast-Paced Retail Environment, The Ability To Multitask And Think Critically To Solve Problems Is Vital. An Assistant Store Leader Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Make Quick Decisions Under Pressure.
