- Support the Store Leader in all aspects of store operations, including but not limited to: inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of store policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Manage and lead a team of employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive and empowering work culture that promotes growth, development, and success for all team members.
- Ensure excellent customer service is provided to all customers by setting a high standard for customer interactions and resolving any customer issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Monitor and analyze sales and performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase store productivity and profitability.
- Collaborate with the Store Leader to develop and execute marketing and promotional initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Maintain a safe and clean store environment by enforcing company policies and procedures, as well as local health and safety regulations.
- Act as a role model for team members by demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve store operations and customer satisfaction.
Previous Leadership Experience: A Successful Assistant Store Leader At H-E-B Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Customer Service Environment.
Strong Communication Skills: As An Assistant Store Leader, Effective Communication Is Crucial For Managing A Team And Ensuring Clear And Consistent Communication With Upper Management And Other Departments.
Knowledge Of Retail Operations: A Deep Understanding Of Retail Operations, Including Inventory Management, Merchandising, And Customer Service, Is Essential For An Assistant Store Leader To Excel In Their Role.
