Job Description

The Assistant Service Manager at H-E-B is a critical role in the store's operations. We are looking for an experienced, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team and provide excellent customer service and leadership. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people and a commitment to providing outstanding service. This person must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to think on their feet.The Assistant Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the store's service departments, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate must have strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as prior experience in leading a customer service team.Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of prior experience in a customer service role, a valid driver's license, and a successful completion of a criminal background check.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Service Manager at H-E-B:

  1. Monitor the service departments’ operations and ensure that they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  2. Ensure team members are adhering to company policies and procedures.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service to all customers.
  4. Lead and manage a customer service team.
  5. Assist with problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  6. Handle customer inquiries and complaints.
  7. Ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Develop and implement customer service standards.
  9. Monitor customer feedback and take appropriate action.
  10. Maintain communication with other departments.
  11. Train and develop team members.
  12. Monitor inventory levels and order new supplies as needed.
  13. Provide feedback and suggestions to store management.
  14. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
