- Serve as a brand ambassador for GUESS, upholding the company's values, mission, and image at all times.
- Lead and motivate a team of retail associates, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Drive sales and meet or exceed sales targets through effective coaching and sales techniques.
- Create and maintain a positive and welcoming shopping environment for customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including inventory management and loss prevention measures.
- Communicate effectively with store management and corporate teams regarding store performance, customer feedback, and any issues or concerns.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new team members.
- Set an example for the team by delivering excellent customer service and demonstrating product knowledge.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store is always well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, fashion, and competitor activities to continually improve sales and customer experience.
- Collaborate with other Keyholders and management to develop and implement strategies for store growth and improvement.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures to protect company assets and employees.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and register reconciliation.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
Previous Retail Experience: A Keyholder At Guess Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role. This Experience Will Demonstrate An Understanding Of The Retail Industry And The Ability To Manage A Team.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Keyholder, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Overseeing And Directing The Work Of Other Employees. This Requires Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Support, And Resolve Conflicts.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In A Retail Setting, And A Keyholder Should Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Effectively With Both Customers And Team Members. This Includes Active Listening, Clear Verbal Communication, And Written Communication.
Attention To Detail: A Keyholder Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That The Store Is Always Well-Maintained And Visually Appealing. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management To Ensure Accurate Stock Levels And Prevent Loss Or Theft.
Availability And Flexibility: Keyholder Positions At Guess Often Require Working Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays, So Candidates Should Be Able To Work A Flexible Schedule. They Should Also Be Available For On-Call Shifts And Be Able To Step In And Cover Shifts When Needed.
