
Statistics (Biostatistics)
At GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), we are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Biostatistician. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the right qualifications and experience to help us develop our biostatistical activities.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Statistics, particularly in the field of Biostatistics, as well as experience in the use of statistical software packages and data analysis techniques. They will be a team player, with excellent communication and analytical skills, able to develop and manage complex projects from the design stage through to the completion of the analysis.In this role, you will be responsible for developing and validating statistical models, performing data analysis, and providing statistical guidance to the wider team. You will be expected to work in a collaborative manner, ensuring that the project objectives and timelines are met, and that any changes to the project are well communicated to stakeholders. For this role, you should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred. Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate statistical models and perform data analysis.
- Provide statistical guidance to the wider team.
