Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Medical Writer to join GlaxoSmithKline in our dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will play a critical part in the development of medical and scientific publications, abstracts, posters and presentations. You must have previous experience working in a medical writing role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent writing, analytical, organizational and project management skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively. Additionally, you should be comfortable working in a highly regulated environment and have a keen eye for detail. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop medical and scientific publications, abstracts, posters and presentations.
  2. Utilize excellent writing, analytical, organizational and project management skills.
  3. Work independently and collaboratively in a highly regulated environment.
  4. Possess a keen eye for detail.
  5. Ensure accuracy, clarity and consistency of all medical and scientific documents.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations and guidelines.
  7. Participate in the review of documents from other teams.
  8. Perform quality control checks on documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  9. Maintain records of research activities and document results in appropriate databases.
  10. Participate in project meetings and provide input on project progress.
