
Senior Director, Project Management Advisor
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Director, Project Management Advisor to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational and communication skills and a passion for driving improvements in our processes related to project management. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and implementation of project management initiatives across the organization.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior position, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. They must have excellent leadership skills, an in-depth knowledge of project management principles, and an ability to think critically and strategically. Additionally, they must possess the ability to work effectively across departments and collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of project management initiatives across the organization
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of project management principles to drive improvements in processes related to project management
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to ensure successful execution of projects
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met
- Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders, including departments and other external parties
- Monitor and review project performance to ensure successful outcomes
- Provide timely and actionable feedback to project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Analyze and identify areas for improvement in project management processes
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Prepare and present reports on project progress to senior management
