Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Regional Sales Director to join GlaxoSmithKline’s (GSK) dynamic, fast-paced sales team. The successful candidate must have a proven track record for developing strategies and managing sales teams to meet corporate objectives.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, as well as at least five years of experience in sales and/or marketing. You must also have strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, expertise in developing sales strategies, and an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role.A passion for sales and an understanding of the importance of building relationships with customers are also essential. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies that meet corporate objectives for the region.
  2. Manage a sales team to ensure sales goals are met.
  3. Analyze competitive landscape and develop strategies to increase market share.
  4. Develop and nurture relationships with key customers to drive sales.
  5. Negotiate sales contracts and close deals.
  6. Train and mentor sales personnel in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service.
  7. Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Analyze sales performance data and create reports for senior management.
  9. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of GSK products and services.
  10. Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
