
Administrative Assistant
GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the company’s departments. To excel in this role, you must be an excellent communicator and planner, have a passion for organization, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. We are looking for a team player with the ability to multi-task and work independently.The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role within a corporate environment, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, and a proven ability to handle confidential information. Additionally, excellent written and verbal communication skills, in addition to a positive attitude and strong work ethic, are essential to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external customers.
- Assist with managing calendars, organizing meetings, and scheduling travel arrangements.
- Respond to inquiries, requests, and other requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities and transactions.
- Create presentations, draft correspondence, and other documents as needed.
- Prepare expense reports and reconcile accounts.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
- Assist with the onboarding of new employees.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to departments.
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
