Job Description

We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior Analytical Scientist at Glaxo Smith Kline. The Senior Analytical Scientist will be responsible for leading the development, optimization, validation and implementation of analytical methods in support of drug development, manufacturing and quality assurance activities. The ideal candidate will have a background in analytical chemistry, a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving.Required Qualifications:• PhD in Analytical Chemistry, or equivalent experience• Extensive experience in the development and validation of analytical methods• Proficiency in the use of liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry and other analytical instrumentation• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently and in a team environment• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
