Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our Immunology Research Unit at Glaxo Smith Kline as an Investigator. The successful candidate will be required to bring an extensive background in immunological research and have a passion for scientific discovery. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing immunological studies in support of drug discovery and development, as well as providing guidance and mentorship to junior researchers. The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Immunology and/or related disciplines, with at least 5 years of relevant postdoctoral research experience. The candidate must be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in immunological and molecular techniques, including cell culture, flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, and gene expression analysis. The candidate should also have a proven track record in designing and executing experiments, data analysis and interpretation, as well as experience in preparing manuscripts and grants. In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills, as they will be expected to work in a collaborative team environment.
