Job Description

The Global Medical Affairs Director at Glaxo Smith Kline (GSK) is a key leadership role that is responsible for driving insights and strategy to ensure GSK’s medical activities are in line with the company’s overall global strategy. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual who is passionate about making a difference in the healthcare industry and takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the medical affairs field, with a proven track record of successful global medical activities.The successful candidate should possess a doctoral degree in medicine, pharmacy, or life sciences, with at least 8+ years of experience in a medical affairs role. This position requires exceptional interpersonal, communication and project management skills, as well as an advanced understanding of medical strategy and drug development. The Global Medical Affairs Director must be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and possess strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities. An understanding of global regulatory and compliance requirements and guidelines is also an advantage.
