Job Description

If so, Gilead Sciences is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Therapeutic Specialist-PrEP to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with healthcare providers and community organizations to promote awareness and education about pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV prevention. We are looking for individuals with a background in healthcare, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving public health.   1. Develop and implement strategies to promote awareness and education about PrEP for HIV prevention to healthcare providers, community organizations, and the general public.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare providers to identify and address barriers to PrEP access and utilization.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the HIV prevention field, such as healthcare providers, community organizations, and public health agencies.
  4. Conduct in-person and virtual presentations and trainings on PrEP to educate healthcare providers and community members.
  5. Serve as a subject matter expert on PrEP, staying up-to-date on the latest research and guidelines.
  6. Work with internal and external teams to develop educational materials and resources related to PrEP.
  7. Participate in conferences and events to promote PrEP and raise awareness of Gilead Sciences' efforts in HIV prevention.
  8. Collect and analyze data related to PrEP awareness, education, and utilization to inform future strategies.
  9. Represent Gilead Sciences in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and expand the impact of PrEP education and awareness efforts.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  12. Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with colleagues and partners within and outside of the organization.
  13. Travel to various locations as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
  14. Continuously assess and adjust strategies to meet changing needs and priorities in the field of HIV prevention.
  15. Serve as a compassionate and knowledgeable resource for individuals seeking information about PrEP and HIV prevention.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Public Health, Social Work, Or Counseling.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience Working In The Field Of Hiv Prevention And Treatment, With A Focus On Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (Prep).

  • Strong Knowledge Of And Experience With The Healthcare System, Including Understanding Of Insurance Coverage And Reimbursement Processes.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Collaborate Effectively With Healthcare Providers And Community Organizations.

  • Familiarity With Gilead's Prep Products And The Ability To Effectively Educate Healthcare Providers And Patients About Their Use And Benefits.
