  1. Develop and implement strategies to prevent the spread of HIV in the community.
  2. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in HIV prevention methods.
  3. Collaborate with local organizations and community partners to promote awareness and education about HIV prevention.
  4. Design and deliver training programs and workshops for healthcare professionals, community leaders, and at-risk populations.
  5. Analyze data and evaluate the effectiveness of prevention initiatives, making adjustments as needed.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on HIV prevention, providing guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
  7. Stay informed on relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines related to HIV prevention.
  8. Represent Gilead Sciences at conferences, meetings, and other events related to HIV prevention.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community leaders, and government officials.
  10. Manage budget and resources allocated for HIV prevention initiatives.
  11. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk reduction plans.
  12. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create awareness campaigns and materials.
  13. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  14. Mentor and train junior prevention specialists.
  15. Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to enhance HIV prevention efforts.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Hiv Prevention And Education, With A Focus On Central Florida Region.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Current Hiv Prevention Strategies, Including Prep And Harm Reduction Approaches.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Local And State Hiv Policies And Regulations, As Well As Experience Working With Community Partners And Stakeholders.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Educate And Engage Diverse Audiences.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Public Health, Social Work, Or A Related Field. Master's Degree Preferred.
