- Lead and manage a team of statistical programmers to support the development of novel oncology therapies.
- Design and implement statistical programming strategies to support the development of new treatments.
- Ensure high-quality and timely deliverables from the statistical programming team.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including training and mentoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement statistical analysis plans and ensure consistency across studies.
- Oversee the development and validation of statistical programs and macros.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, regarding statistical programming activities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to statistical programming for oncology clinical trials.
- Manage project timelines and resources to ensure successful completion of deliverables.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality within the statistical programming team.
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
- Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Represent the statistical programming team in internal and external meetings and presentations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for statistical programming in the oncology therapeutic area.
- Support the development and implementation of new statistical programming tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as biostatistics and data management, to ensure consistency and quality in data analysis and reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of statistical programming processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for data integrity and security.
- Provide guidance and support during regulatory inspections and audits.
- Continuously evaluate and improve statistical programming processes and procedures to ensure efficient and high-quality results.
Advanced Degree In Biostatistics, Statistics, Or A Related Field With A Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry.
Extensive Experience In Statistical Programming And Analysis Using Sas And Other Programming Languages.
Strong Knowledge Of Clinical Trial Design, Data Collection And Analysis Methodologies, And Regulatory Requirements In The Field Of Oncology.
Proven Leadership Skills With At Least 3 Years Of Experience Managing A Team Of Statistical Programmers.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Abilities, With A Track Record Of Successful Cross-Functional Partnerships And The Ability To Present Complex Statistical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
