  1. Lead and oversee the clinical development strategy for Gilead Sciences' innovative therapies.
  2. Develop and implement clinical trial protocols, study designs, and data collection plans.
  3. Provide expert guidance and support to cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs.
  4. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure timely and successful execution of clinical trials.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in clinical development.
  6. Drive continuous improvement in clinical development processes and procedures.
  7. Manage and mentor a team of clinical development professionals.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and company policies.
  9. Contribute to the development of clinical development budgets and timelines.
  10. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including presenting at conferences and participating in meetings with regulatory agencies.
  11. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the clinical development team.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert and represent Gilead Sciences in scientific and professional forums.
  13. Identify and address potential risks and issues that may impact clinical trials.
  14. Evaluate and analyze clinical trial data to inform decision-making and identify potential areas for improvement.
  15. Act as a liaison between Gilead Sciences and external partners, such as contract research organizations and academic institutions.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Clinical Development Within The Biopharmaceutical Industry, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Multiple Clinical Trials.

  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field (Md, Phd, Pharmd) And/Or Extensive Knowledge Of Clinical Research And Drug Development Processes.

  • In-Depth Understanding Of Regulatory Guidelines And Requirements For Drug Development, Including Fda And International Regulatory Agencies.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience In Managing Cross-Functional Teams, Including Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, And Medical Writing.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate And Build Relationships With Key Stakeholders Both Internally And Externally.
