- Coordinate with various departments within the organization to understand the clinical supply needs for ongoing and upcoming global clinical trials.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of clinical supplies.
- Monitor and track inventory levels of clinical supplies to ensure availability for ongoing trials and anticipate potential shortages.
- Work closely with the Global Clinical Operations team to forecast supply needs and plan for upcoming trials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives for clinical supply chain operations.
- Review and maintain accurate documentation related to clinical supply chain activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and inventory reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines for clinical supply chain activities.
- Troubleshoot any issues or delays in the delivery of clinical supplies and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of clinical supply chain operations.
- Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge in clinical supply chain management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in clinical supply chain management to bring innovative ideas and solutions to the team.
- Represent the Global Clinical Supply Chain team in cross-functional meetings and provide updates on supply chain activities.
- Act as a subject matter expert for clinical supply chain processes and procedures, providing guidance and support to other departments as needed.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information related to clinical supply chain activities.
- Embody the company's mission and values and contribute to a positive and collaborative work culture within the team and the organization as a whole.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Clinical Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Global Setting
Strong Understanding Of Gmp And Regulatory Requirements For Clinical Trials
Experience With Supply Chain Planning, Forecasting, And Inventory Management Software
Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners.
