If so, Gilead Sciences is looking for a Principal Medical Science Liaison to join our US Medical Affairs team. In this role, you will be a key member of our Oncology team, working closely with cross-functional partners to drive scientific exchange and provide medical education to healthcare professionals. Your expertise in Oncology and your exceptional communication and leadership skills will be crucial in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders and academic institutions.   1. Serve as a key member of the US Medical Affairs team, responsible for leading and executing medical affairs strategies for the Oncology portfolio.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and academic institutions in the field of Oncology.
  3. Utilize expert scientific knowledge to drive scientific exchange and provide medical education to healthcare professionals.
  4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including Medical, Commercial, and Research & Development teams, to ensure alignment and execution of medical affairs strategies.
  5. Serve as a scientific resource for internal teams, providing insights and updates on the latest advancements and developments in Oncology.
  6. Represent Gilead Sciences at scientific conferences and meetings, presenting data and engaging with key stakeholders in the Oncology community.
  7. Provide medical expertise and support for the development and execution of clinical trials and other research initiatives.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry and regulatory guidelines and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.
  9. Act as a mentor and leader for other members of the Medical Science Liaison team, providing guidance and support to drive success and achieve goals.
  10. Contribute to the overall mission of Gilead Sciences to improve the lives of patients with cancer and make a significant impact in the field of Oncology.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field (E.g. Pharmd, Phd, Md)

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Medical Science Liaison Role Within The Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry

  • In-Depth Knowledge And Understanding Of Oncology Therapeutic Area

  • Strong Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage With Key Opinion Leaders And Internal Stakeholders

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Strategic Plans And Initiatives In The Medical Affairs Field.
