  1. Represent Gilead Sciences as a knowledgeable and professional liaison between the company and healthcare professionals.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and medical experts in the field of life-threatening diseases.
  3. Provide accurate and up-to-date medical and scientific information on Gilead's therapies to healthcare professionals and institutions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective strategies for engaging with healthcare professionals.
  5. Act as a scientific resource for internal teams, including sales, marketing, and clinical development.
  6. Stay updated on the latest advancements and scientific developments in relevant disease areas.
  7. Plan and conduct educational programs and presentations for healthcare professionals, including advisory boards and symposia.
  8. Identify and communicate insights and feedback from healthcare professionals to internal teams.
  9. Represent Gilead at medical conferences, congresses, and other scientific events.
  10. Adhere to all legal and compliance guidelines in all interactions with healthcare professionals.
  11. Work closely with the medical affairs team to support clinical research and publications.
  12. Continuously develop and maintain a deep understanding of Gilead's therapies and the competitive landscape.
  13. Support the development and execution of medical strategies for key products and disease areas.
  14. Travel to various locations to meet with healthcare professionals as needed.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of Gilead Sciences by promoting the company's mission and values.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Life Science Field Such As Pharmacy, Medicine, Or Biology

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working As A Medical Science Liaison Or In A Related Role Within The Pharmaceutical Industry

  • Thorough Understanding Of Clinical Research, Drug Development Process, And Regulatory Requirements

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage With Key Opinion Leaders And Healthcare Professionals

  • Ability To Travel Extensively, Often On Short Notice, To Attend Medical Conferences, Meetings, And Other Events Within Assigned Territory.
