- Develop and oversee the clinical development strategy for Gilead's therapies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Lead the design and execution of clinical trials, including protocol development, study management, data analysis, and interpretation of results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful completion of clinical trials, including medical affairs, regulatory affairs, and commercial teams.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging clinical data and scientific literature to identify potential opportunities for new clinical development programs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and medical experts to gain insights and support for clinical development programs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines.
- Manage and mentor a team of clinical development professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional growth.
- Represent Gilead at scientific conferences and meetings, presenting clinical data and participating in discussions with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to develop and implement successful launch strategies for new therapies.
- Continuously assess and improve clinical development processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness in delivering innovative therapies to patients.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical development and provide guidance and expertise to colleagues across the organization.
- Contribute to the development and review of clinical development plans and study protocols, ensuring scientific rigor and feasibility.
- Act as a liaison between Gilead and external partners, including contract research organizations, academic institutions, and other collaborators.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the medical field and apply new knowledge and best practices to clinical development programs.
- Uphold Gilead's values and foster a culture of diversity, collaboration, and innovation within the clinical development team.
Medical Degree (Md) From An Accredited Institution
Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In Clinical Development Within The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry
Strong Understanding Of Drug Development Processes And Regulations, Including Fda And Ema Guidelines
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Clinical Trials From Phase I-Iii
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners
