  1. Lead and oversee the clinical development of Gilead Sciences' portfolio of inflammation drugs.

  3. Utilize expertise in medicine and drug development to design and execute clinical trials and studies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful completion of clinical development milestones.
  5. Conduct regular reviews of clinical trial data and provide strategic recommendations for next steps.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines throughout the clinical development process.
  7. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and trends in the field of inflammatory diseases to inform decision-making.
  8. Mentor and guide junior team members to develop their skills and contribute to the success of the clinical development program.
  9. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investigators, KOLs, and regulatory agencies.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures related to clinical development in the inflammation therapeutic area.
  11. Represent Gilead Sciences at conferences, symposiums, and other scientific events to showcase the company's expertise in inflammatory diseases.
  12. Maintain strong communication and collaboration with internal and external partners to drive innovation and deliver on company goals.
  13. Take a leadership role in the development and execution of new drug development strategies for the treatment of inflammatory diseases.
  14. Work closely with the commercial team to ensure alignment and effective integration of clinical and commercial strategies.
  15. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and guidance to team members to foster growth and development.
