Job Description

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Community Liaison for HIV at Gilead Sciences. In this role, you will be a vital bridge between our company and local community organizations, healthcare providers, and patients living with HIV. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a deep commitment to improving the lives of those affected by HIV. Join us in our mission to advance the treatment and prevention of HIV in New Jersey and beyond.

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and patients living with HIV in New Jersey.
  2. Serve as a key point of contact and resource for community partners, providing information and support on Gilead's HIV treatment and prevention options.
  3. Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase awareness and understanding of Gilead's HIV products and programs within the local community.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address the specific needs and challenges of the New Jersey HIV community.
  5. Organize and participate in community events and initiatives to promote education and access to HIV treatment and prevention.
  6. Keep up to date on the latest developments and trends in the HIV field, particularly as they relate to New Jersey.
  7. Facilitate communication and information exchange between Gilead and community partners, ensuring that their perspectives and concerns are heard and addressed.
  8. Collect and analyze data to measure the impact of outreach efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Represent Gilead at conferences, meetings, and other relevant events to build relationships and share information.
  10. Serve as a liaison between Gilead and local health departments, staying informed of public health initiatives and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
  11. Adhere to company policies and regulations, including compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
  12. Serve as an ambassador for Gilead's commitment to making a positive impact in the fight against HIV in New Jersey and beyond.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Public Health, Social Work, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Community Engagement And Partnership Building, Particularly In The Field Of Hiv/Aids

  • Knowledge Of Hiv/Aids Prevention, Treatment, And Care In New Jersey, Including Familiarity With Local Resources And Services

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders And Community Members

  • Experience In Program Development And Implementation, Including Planning And Executing Community Events And Initiatives To Raise Awareness About Hiv Prevention And Treatment.
