We are currently seeking an Associate Scientist to join our Cell Culture Process Development team in our Pre-Pivotal Biologics CMC Development division. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of cell culture processes for our biologics pipeline.   1. Conduct research and experiments to develop and optimize cell culture processes for our biologics pipeline.
  2. Collaborate with team members to design and execute studies, analyze data, and make recommendations for process improvements.
  3. Document all experimental procedures, results, and conclusions accurately and in a timely manner.
  4. Maintain inventory and QC of cell lines and media used in cell culture experiments.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to cell culture processes.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and trends in cell culture and biopharmaceutical development.
  7. Contribute to writing and reviewing technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Ensure compliance with company and industry regulations and standards.
  9. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Quality Control, Manufacturing, and Regulatory Affairs.
  10. Participate in team meetings and provide updates on project progress.
  11. Demonstrate a strong understanding of Gilead Sciences' mission and values, and actively work towards achieving company goals.
  12. Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment.
  13. Train and mentor junior team members as needed.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the team lead or manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field, Such As Biology, Biochemistry, Or Biotechnology.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Cell Culture Process Development, Preferably In A Biopharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Gmp Regulations And Experience Working In A Regulated Environment.

  • Proven Ability To Design And Execute Experiments, Analyze Data, And Present Findings In A Clear And Concise Manner.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Cross-Functional Team Environment.
