  3. Oversee the design, execution, and interpretation of clinical pharmacology studies.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support drug development and regulatory submissions.
  6. Analyze and interpret clinical pharmacology data to guide decision making.
  7. Contribute to the development of clinical pharmacology plans and protocols.
  8. Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on clinical pharmacology activities.
  9. Perform literature reviews and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in clinical pharmacology in virology.
  10. Mentor and develop team members to ensure a high level of scientific expertise and proficiency.
  11. Identify and address potential risks and issues related to clinical pharmacology.
  12. Participate in review and analysis of potential new drug candidates for viral diseases.
  13. Participate in scientific conferences and forums to represent Gilead's clinical pharmacology expertise.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve the clinical pharmacology program to drive innovation and excellence.
  15. Contribute to the overall goals and objectives of the company and the virology team.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Pharmacology Or Related Field (Phd, Pharmd) With A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Relevant Industry Experience In Clinical Pharmacology

  • Expertise In Virology And Antiviral Drug Development, Particularly In The Areas Of Hiv, Hepatitis B/C, And Emerging Viral Diseases

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Clinical Pharmacology Principles, Including Pk/Pd, Drug Metabolism And Drug-Drug Interactions

  • Proven Track Record Of Leading And Managing Clinical Pharmacology Programs For Early And Late-Stage Clinical Development Programs

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Cross-Functionally And Effectively Present To Internal And External Stakeholders, Including Regulatory Agencies.
