
Manager, Media Buying
Oversee activation of traditional media, media partnerships activated outside internal “agency of choice”, and direct buys for premium placements. Negotiate rates and testing proof of concept plans with both traditional partners and direct buy partners. Main point of contact for media vendors. Owner of the media flowchart that allow internal stakeholders to see what messaging we are running across all performance marketing channels and lines of business. Uses this to communicate internally and externally on planned media. Coach and mentor junior team members on the principles of media buying and planning. Owns traditional media accrual process and partners with strategy on discrepancies in planning vs actuals. Audit existing operational landscape to identify pain points, roadblocks, and areas for growth. Builds process documentation and workflows. Engages in opportunities to further education in performance marketing knowledge by attending webinars, conferences, speaking opportunities, and certifications.
