- Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff by responding to inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with members of the GWU community, including students, faculty, and staff, to understand their needs and provide appropriate support and resources.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for senior services, including managing phone and email inquiries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and services provided to students, faculty, and staff.
- Collaborate with other departments and service providers within GWU to ensure seamless and comprehensive support for students, faculty, and staff.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues or concerns and escalate them to the appropriate party for resolution.
- Conduct outreach and education efforts to promote awareness and utilization of senior services among the GWU community.
- Stay informed about relevant policies, procedures, and resources to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is provided to students, faculty, and staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to senior services.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant privacy laws and regulations when handling sensitive information.
- Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline processes and procedures to enhance the overall experience for students, faculty, and staff.
- Act as a positive and professional representative of GWU, embodying the university's values and mission in all interactions.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Gerontology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Senior Services Or Aging-Related Role.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Pertaining To Senior Services And Aging.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Populations.
Experience In Program Development, Implementation, And Evaluation For Senior Services.
